MACHINE SERVICE AND TUNE-UP
Your sewing machine or serger needs regular service to keep it running smoothly and stitching properly. Our factory certified technician will professionally clean, oil, and adjust your machine so that it's working like new again.
CLEANING
Removing fluff and dust – Technician will start with cleaning the whole machine.
BOBBIN CHECK
Checking the bobbin – The bobbin and bobbin case have the tendency to accumulate lots of dust. Cleaning these will avoid jamming.
LUBRICATION
This is important to prolong the machine’s life span. Proper lubricants will be used as specified by manufacturer.
TENSION
It’s a must to check the bobbin tension and calibrate machine tension as you will get low-quality results and potentially broken or snagged thread if it’s wrong.

BOBBIN WINDER
If the tire is worn or cracked, it should be immediately replaced. Bobbins that are wound unevenly can lead to sewing problems.
ELECTRONICS AND WIRING
Faulty wiring or circuitry means a non-responsive or malfunctioning sewing machine.
HOOK TIMING
Timing that is not adjusted to factory specifications can lead to
missed stitches, poor stitching or a machine that won't sew.

Repair old Machine Vs. Buying a New One
It depends on the type of sewing you intend to repair. The benefit of many old machines is that they're indefinitely serviceable and very durable due to the metal parts. But old machines come with the downside of limited stitch options.
Most older machines are built much better than inexpensive new machines. So, although it may cost more to service an old machine than what it may be worth, the machine will outlast those new plastic machines and will provide a lifetime of service with proper maintenance.

We service and repair most brands of sewing machines including:
